farming. Our neighbour will take you on a tour of his farm, where not only ostriches can be

Swartberg Pass
Enjoy a scenic drive through the Swartberg Mountains over the Pass. Have the best view over the
Klein Karoo at "Die Top" and over Gamkaskloof while you descend to Prince Albert.
Gamkaskloof - Die Hel
The Gamkaskloof is a fascinating valley, which can be accessed by a sturdy vehicle nowadays but until
1963 it was only possible by foot. A historic donkey trail was used back then and is now
re-established for tourists.

Cango Caves
Visit these vast dripstone caverns and admire the beautiful formations created by nature. You will
find fascinating stalactites, stalagmites and multiple other formations throughout a standard tour
of approx. 600 metres deep down into the mountain.
If you feel a bit more adventurous, then join a tour entering deeper into the mountain
including crawling through narrow tunnels and shafts.

Visit the reserve located in the Gamka mountains, which is the home to the endangered mountain
zebra, an unusual protea, Khoisan Rock Art and marine fossils.
Calitzdorp
Only 25 km from Amber Lagoon lies the little village of Calitzdorp. Calitzdorp is famous for
its wine, especially its Port. Why not visit one of the Wine Cellars and taste some of
Calitzdorp's finest wines? And afterwards take a stroll around the small village, admiring
the architecture and charm of the old houses.

Seweweekspoort

the beautiful Vleiland Valley. Take in the stunning views along the route or picnic at rest areas
surrounded by the magnificent nature.

The Indian Ocean is only about 90 km away and a nice day trip. Visit Mossel Bay and go
swimming with great white sharks - you are in a safe cage of course.
